In the fall of 2021 a friend and I walked the length of the Grand Central Parkway in Queens, from the Triborough/ RFK Bridge to the far edge of Eastern Queens. This pamphlet describes this journey, and what we found along the way. What is it like to walk at a human pace next to a road designed for cars?
